- What is Patent Rank?
- How Can We Help You?
- Why Our Methodology?
- Is Patent Rank Relevant?
MyPatentAssets is a service that provides individual patent examinations in a dashboard setting based on several valuation criteria via a Patent Rank.
MyPatentAssets serves to answer basic questions about a single patent. It gives the Patent Rank Badge Score of the queried patent as well as basic “dashboard” type information (inventor, dates, claims, forward citations, etc.). While some of our competitors offer similar services, they will not have the same information, as they do not possess Patent Rank’s patented methodology. We offer forward citations as well as Patent Rank Badge Score. Imagine two companies that both provide maps, yet one company can not only give you the lay of the land, it can provide context and understanding of where you are relative to your surroundings. It can also help you understand potential pitfalls of your travels as well as help guide you to unseen opportunities. The process is very simple: you put in your patent (by number) and we provide a dashboard of relevant information to you.
The primary functionality of MyPatentAssets can be seen in the comprehensive dashboard feature. This dashboard includes all relevant patent information as well as Patent Rank Badges. To understand its functionality, let’s go through a brief demonstration:
First a user would head over to http://www.patentassets.com. Upon arrival, one can see several the initial components of the site, which are explained in further depth below. Once on the page, a user can search any patent by its designated United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) patent number.
For this example we have chosen to use patent US4595990. Upon entry and search of US4595990, the MyPatentAssets comprehensive dashboard appears. Here we can see the Patent Rank Badge for this patent, the windshield summary of the patent, and all further documentation. Aspects of the dashboard are explained in further depth below.
